Spring News
Report 2019

Due to schools closing because of the COVID-19 pandemic, courses organised by Nottinghamshire County Council have been postponed.

We will not be delivering faith experiences until the situation changes.

Religious Education for All
The Agreed Syllabus for RE in Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire, 2021-2026
Given the Covid-19 situation and the work schools will face in transitioning pupils back into school, whenever that happens, we now propose to launch this document late in the autumn term. The launch will be over three days 16, 17 and 18 November 2020.

Schools will be sent further details about booking for these launch days and how to access electronic and paper copies of the document when it is timely to do so.

In the meantime the current syllabus remains applicable, with the expectation that the new Agreed Syllabus does not need to be used until January 2021 at the earliest. The date of the new document reflects this change.

Welcome to the Religious Studies Resource Centre

The RSResource Centre has the largest collection of Multi Faith resources in Nottinghamshire. These are available on loan to schools and interested communities. We have Religious Artefacts, books and posters along with DVDs and CDs. These are listed in our on-line catalogue.

These items can be borrowed by subscribers and are collected from the Reception at the Vine and returned there. Reception at the Vine Community Centre is open from 9 am. to 6 p.m. on weekdays. Orders should be placed on line using your subscribers code.

The RSResource Centre is staffed on a voluntary basis and visits can pre booked to the centre. As a multi-faith resource we have worked closely with Nottingham Inter Faith Council since 2001 office is based within the RSResource Centre.

The Resource Room is non-profit-making and relies entirely on donations from organisations and individuals, in addition to available funding from Nottingham City Council and Nottinghamshire County Council. We work closely in conjunction with the Nottingham Inter Faith Council.

Supported by The Vine Community Centre, Nottingham City Council, Nottinghamshire County Council and Nottingham Inter Faith Council
